The founder of Beauty Point by Point, Sara Sas is a licensed Acupuncturist and Herbalist with more than 20 years of experience. At her La Jolla clinic, she offers clients healing on many levels. Her approach to internal medicine with spiritual transformation, shifts and empowers a person to improve their health conditions. She specializes in Cosmetic Facial Acupuncture with powerful age-defying techniques that produce healthy youthful looking skin. They are timeless, gentle, natural, and drug-free.
In Beauty Point by Point, Sara blends a rich array of experience and training, a fusion of Eastern and Western medicine, as well as specialty training with masters of cosmetic acupuncture and Chinese face reading. She provides internal medicine services for a unique healing experience. Her work with acclaimed scholars to learn ancient medicinal secrets, healing rituals, and spiritual disciplines promotes a physical and spiritual renewal of self. Her keen intuition is the perfect complement to this rich background, which garners profound healing results.
Andres Velasquez
Andres Velasquez is a licensed acupuncturist, Chinese herbalist and healer from San Diego. Understanding the connection of mind and body, Andres addresses both physical pain and mental stress with acupuncture and customized herbal prescriptions to ensure total health. His trained expertise is Japanese needle technique, incorporating gentle needling and palpation skills to diagnose and correct vital flow.
Andres specializes in insomnia, mental-emotional disorders, men’s health, digestive disorders, facial rejuvenation, and muscular pain. He is recognized for reliably finding ways to connect deeply with patients, finding the peaceful medium between kindness-driven care and professionalism. Currently working towards certification by the International Coaching Federation, Andres integrates lifestyle coaching to help patients move closer towards their health goals between treatments.
He earned his Doctorate of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine degree from Pacific College of Health and Sciences. Andres continues working with Pacific College as a teaching faculty fellow and as a core member of the committee for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.
Melanie Zenor
A team member at Beauty Point by Point for more than four years, Melanie Zenor is a dedicated practitioner of holistic medicine, having practiced its art & science since 2015. She loves empowering patients to understand their bodies and introducing the gentle power of the healing arts.
As a Massage Therapist, she enjoys drawing upon both Western and Eastern Medicine techniques to ensure the best session possible for each client, while providing a safe and nurturing atmosphere in which to heal. She is certified in Reiki, Craniosacral therapy, and is currently studying Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture at Pacific College of Health and Sciences—due to graduate in December of 2023. With this additional training, she’s broadened her ability to heal the body through integrated practices.
Melanie customizes eachsession based on the needs of the individual, drawing on Swedish, Deep Tissue, Sports, Prenatal, Lymphatic, and Acupressure techniques as well as the forementioned specialties.
